Sorrengail has the strongest form and highest OR (89), with a recent second in a good race sandwiched between two wins (412 reading right to left as wins bookending a place, or a progressive profile), trained by Appleby for Godolphin with Buick taking the ride - a top connections combo that rarely wastes a well-bred Wootton Bassett filly in a conditions event like this. The headgear (hood) addition suggests they're sharpening her up for this. Sweetwonderfulyou (Haggas, form 31) is the main danger - won last time out and has solid form, but Sorrengail's figures edge it and she looks the more proven type at this trip on this sort of ground. Learning has an unexposed profile for Hannon but lacks the profile/OR of the top two, and Spirit of Lyra, despite Ryan Moore up, has the lowest OR (81) and hasn't quite matched the front two. This looks like a match between Sorrengail and Sweetwonderfulyou, and I side with the higher-rated, in-form Godolphin filly with a leading rider aboard as the best bet in a compact race.
