The 71-day break is a slight query but connections have freshened him rather than over-raced him, and a Moore-trained sprinter fits their strong sprint-handicap CV. Draw 13 is workable in a 16-runner 6f field on good ground. Main dangers are Robert Anstruther (also improving, in-form with 312 recent finishes, Candy/Spencer combo dangerous) and Sound And Vision (course form, wearing tongue-tie first time which could sharpen her), but George Wickham's scope, RPR trajectory and the fact he's barely had a chance to find his level give him the biggest upside relative to a big field with no standout, well-exposed favourite. Backing the confirmed-improving type over the more exposed campaigners (Mister Bluebird, Brosay, Star Chorus) who look to have found their ceiling around this rating.
