Trained by Sir Mark Prescott, a master of placing horses to win, and ridden by Luke Morris who knows the yard's horses intimately - this is a stable/jockey combo with a strong record of executing the plan. The 19-day break is fine given the pattern of quick returns in her recent campaign, and her class/rating edge over most of this field (only Duke's Command rated higher, but he's out of form with an 876508 sequence trending the wrong way and just scraped a placing last time) makes her stand out. Draw 7 is workable over 1m on the AW. Vincent Rocks, Winston's Warrior and On The River are more moderate, inconsistent types. Date Line and Moving Shadow have interesting recent form but are stepping up in class/distance with less proven scope, and Moving Shadow's 55-day layoff is a slight concern. Assiri Heights is interesting on pedigree (Frankel colt for Juddmonte/Balding/Murphy) but only lightly raced with a maiden-ish profile and unproven at this trip/class. Hot And Cold's blend of rating, recent winning form, and a trainer renowned for placing fillies to win make her the most solid, value-adjusted vote in a moderate handicap. Duke's Command may be sent off favourite based on the OR alone, but his form figures are trending backwards and I fade him.
