Fairly Fulling (90 OR) is the obvious market rival but is returning from an 83-day layoff and his best figure ("41") came a long way back in that string; Les's Destiny Star also has a P in the past figures and is stepping up in class/questionable at this trip having needed cheekpieces added. Masterminding is holding form well (6-2324) but is 8lb+ behind on ratings and hasn't shown boilover-level improvement to suggest he can reel in the top-rated horse. Forest Spirit and Magic Gloves are interesting improving types but concede weight and are unproven at this 3m trip having won/placed mostly short of it. Seeyainthesuninn's rating advantage, recent solid run fresh off a break, and the fact that this is a stayers' trip where the highest-rated, most tested horse often prevails in a lower-class handicap make him the swing selection. Alice Stevens' 3lb claim helps ease the weight burden. I'm backing class and current form over unproven improvers.
