The Verdict
FormCast selectionGuadalevinConfidence 4/5Didn't win
Guadalevin is the only runner with a proper form line and an official rating (80), and her figures read well for this level: 3-2-4-6-2, showing consistent placed efforts including two seconds, with her most recent run just 26 days ago suggesting fitness. She's clearly raced enough to have this trip and AW surface figured out, and the application of a hood today for the first time is a positive intent booking from Charlie Fellowes, a trainer adept at placing improving sorts. Daniel Muscutt riding suggests stable confidence. Against a field containing two unraced fillies (Blowing Up A Storm, Photo Op) and several once-raced maidens with modest form figures (5, 5, 06, 7), Guadalevin holds a clear experience and proven-form edge. Novice fillies' races at this level are frequently won by the horse with the most bottom to their form, and she ticks that box emphatically - she's already run to a place level that should be competitive here off just an 80 rating, and with continued improvement expected for a yard that knows how to win with lightly-tried two-year-olds, she looks the swiftest to exploit the run of the race. The others are unexposed, but that cuts both ways - Bling and Mistral Madness were well beaten last time (form figure 5), Grey Tamam's 38 is respectable but she's had a break of 53 days, and Pure Majesty's 06 figure looks non-completing/well beaten. Lady Jemima is interesting fresh from a break but a single 7 to book form is thin. On solid, proven form and fitness, Guadalevin is the one to beat.
