He's a proven performer at this sort of trip/class on the AW and looks the most solid, tactically versatile runner in the race without a big weight concession disadvantage. Dr Strangelove is interesting with tongue-tie applied and a modest rating but his form figures -43225 show he keeps knocking on the door without winning, which is a slight concern about petering out. Physique's profile of sustained competitiveness at a fair mark, without the drop-in-form risk of the big three at the top of the weights, makes him the most reliable betting proposition. He looks capable of running to a place or better and the market likely underrates his consistency compared to the fancied names carrying big weights with question marks. I'm backing Physique as the horse most likely to run his race on residual ability and current class marker.
