Diplomata's trajectory - fourth, fifth, third, then a win - point to a filly finding her form at the right time, and with class/stable weight behind her this looks the alignment of biggest value against a warm favourite in Missouri Waltz. The handicapper hasn't fully captured her rise given only a modest rating rise to 78, and Haggas/Marquand booking is a positive angle suggesting they see more to come.
