This is a weak apprentice handicap and Koko Blue's recent form line reads 0-3323 - consistently competitive, in the money in four of her last five starts, and clearly progressive over the winter. She's a 4yo filly still open to improvement, races off a fair mark of 52, and her recent runs (3-2-3) show she's находится in tip-top form right now, unlike most of this field who are either dropping in class after a break or exposed on worse marks. Draw 8 is a slight concern in a big field but at 1m2f on the AW it matters less than over sprint trips. It's A Love Thing and Ravenscraig Castle are old, fairly exposed types who've shown little recently (mixed/poor form figures), while Love You More and Kameel have more mixed leg-speed figures without matching the sheer consistency Koko Blue is showing. Millbuie's 303723 is also interesting but has generally finished behind Koko Blue-type form and is up in weight. The step up to represent an in-form filly stepping into a race with fairly workmanlike apprentice rides suggests this is winnable for a filly with genuine placed-every-time recent figures. I make Koko Blue the one to beat on account of being the most consistently competitive and in-form runner in a race lacking a stand-out, and expect a fair price given she's not the most obvious name at the top of the list.
