Bollin Neil's recent form reads 115-27, showing two wins and a placed effort in his last four starts before a below-par run last time which can be forgiven as it followed a big level of form. He's clearly proven at this sort of trip and going for a very experienced Tim Easterby yard that knows exactly how to place a stayer like this in a modest Class 6 handicap. The addition of tongue-tie headgear alongside a wind-op suggests connections are sharpening him up for this. Sean Kirrane takes over and has ridden him before with success. Draw 1 is workable in a small 6-runner field over this longer trip where pace isn't critical early. His level of recent form (two wins in last four) is clearly superior to this field - Simple Star's form figures are mixed with a mid-pack finish pattern, Tide Lines is unproven having not shown much, Togeather Forever is stepping up markedly in trip having raced at shorter distances, and Riddikulus/Falaise Blanc are similarly unproven over 1m6f with modest marks. Bollin Neil's OR of 58 looks fair for this level and his recent scoring form makes him the one to beat. He should go off without being the shortest price given his one blip last time, offering some value relative to his true chance in a race lacking strength in depth.
