A well-bred Mehmas 3yo for the Aga Khan team/JP Murtagh, his form figures -23216 show he's progressive and has been racing in better company, culminating in a clear win last time. He carries only 129lbs (OR94) which looks lenient given the pattern-class calibre he's been competing amongst, and at 3yo he's likely still improving with weight-for-age scope. Ben Coen takes over which is a positive booking. Draw 16 is workable at Leopardstown 7f. Compare to top-weight Andab (138lbs, OR103) who is class but has to concede lumps of weight to this field and his form (232375) shows он hasn't always found the line; and Dorset who is fresh off a poor run 6 days ago for a red-hot yard but the form figures (894007) are moderate and he's unproven turning that quickly around. Excellent Believe and Vafortino both carry 138lbs off long layoffs (70+ days) which is a concern fitness-wise for a competitive sprint-mile handicap. Krasimir (233133) is interesting with the tongue-tie but has more petrol needed to find one more. Sindagan's trajectory, the drop in company relative to assessment, and the positive jockey change make him the value angle in a wide-open heat. His experience of being campaigned in pattern races as a 2yo/3yo suggests the mark is workable, and this becomes his first proper crack at a mark where he can be competitive without significant weight burden.
