Top-rated on OR (70) and the form figures stand out: 21-826 shows two wins and a placed effort recently, clearly working through the grade against similar or tougher company. Trainer Mark Loughnane and son Billy Loughnane combo is in good form and knows how to place these types at this level. Tongue tie suggests they've tried to sharpen a talented filly that's already shown placing ability (2nd, 1st) at this sort of level. Draw 10 isn't ideal but with only 12 runners over 6f on good ground it's workable, and the confidence of connections running her again quickly (26 days) after a good campaign suggests she's fit and firing. Rivals like Act of Violence and Neptune Legend are consistent but capped by lower marks (63-64) and are more exposed handicappers who've been racing/placing without winning recently. Maid In Devon has an interesting profile (111636) but that's already fully working through into this grade and the drop in form (636) is a slight concern, plus barely proven at this trip stepping up in class. Diamondinthedark's superior class figure and recent placing form make her the clear standout on ratings and profile, and she looks the one to beat in a competitive but ultimately weak grade 5 field.
