Bellesque (213) is respectable but has already been beaten twice in three starts and hasn't shown the same upward trajectory. Damsel In Distress has the highest OR (95) and a solid 514 line but her only win came at a different type of contest and stepping up in grade here is unproven. Sea Of Rain has been racing well but her 422314 line shows more knocking on the door than winning at this level. Exceptionally is interesting for the top yard but a 033 form line is workmanlike rather than spectacular. So Lovely's trajectory, connections' confidence via the Moore booking, and fresh, quick reappearance all point to a filly on the way up rather than one who has already shown her hand. I make her the play at a fair each-way/win price, superior in profile to a vulnerable-looking market alternative in Damsel in Distress or Bellesque.
