Shining Guest is the least exposed but her achieved figures (67-652) don't scream festival threat at this level, and she needs more. My Mate Mackley's rock steady upward trajectory in form, fitness (ran 18 days ago, third), and the fact he's already shown he can win/place consistently at this minimal class level makes him credible for the plum spot. His draw in 6 isn't ideal on paper but with only 6 runners it barely matters over 5f. He looks the most swiftly progressing and best-drilled type in a race lacking a standout, and represents a solid contender at a fair, unexaggerated price.
